So Thursday night, the line for early pick up of pre-registration was fucking long! Yes. very long. However, I much rather standing in line Thursday where not too much is going on, than say, Friday morning, where everything is going on.

Friday- Got up early friday. Explored con. Dressed as Android 17, with Terri and Em who were Mirai Trunks and GT Trunks respectively. Wandering around. Pulled Mirai Trunks on a leash. Had fun, wasted money, yadda yadda. Don't remember much, I couldn't take pictures as my camera battery was dead. So I can't remember everything I did. I know we stayed up way too late Fri night sewing things for Der Cosplay.

Woke up way too early because someone told us the Cosplay pratice might be at nine. It wasn't. I did not make it to the lobby to find Na, we were supposed to meet at 9. I found out later it was okay, she missed her train and wasn't there either. No big deal.

Dressed as Selphie from FFVIII, while Terri and Em did some cosplay I don't know.

We went to the Cosplay walk through at 12, then went to eat. I found out the cosplay.com photoshoot conflicted with my plans, we were going to eat and then go sew/work on stuff more. After eating, I went down to see if I could find the Final Fantasy photo shoot, to discover I had missed it, apparantly it was right after the Cosplay.com photoshot.

So I missed both shoots I wanted to go to, but its okay. I can cope. *grins*

Went back to hotel room to get ready for Der Cosplay. Got ready. Went to Der Cosplay. Argued with the people there that no, our 7 foot wing-spanned people could not actually climb the stairs to go to the other side of the stage, and really did need to go behind the curtain. Got yelled at.

Went on stage. People were sort of cheering and dead silent after the announcer announced us "Kamikaze Crossplayers" I went on first (As was written), then Kaa-san as the monster. Kaa-san was a big hit. As soon as she went onstage, people started screaming/laughing. Then Em as Access (with 7-foot wings) appeared and cheering galore. Terri as Sinbad/chiaki came on, then Erik appeared as Fin, it was complete laughing. And then Nick as Jeanne, well, that was wonderful too. Me and Terrri were apparantly just minor characters in comparsion (On the stage) but its okay. I had fun. Apparantly, no one could hear over all the screaming (well, duh! stop screaming!) We won nothing. That was sort of depressing, I was certain the wings should have one some sort of technical award or something, but its okay. I had lots of fun anyway.

After it was over, like... Everyone wanted a picture of us. Every two steps we had to stop (Not too easy because Em's harness on her wings wasn't working correctly and she was having problems breathing with the weight of the wings but she wouldn't say no to the people) but we made it back to the hotel room. (Good thing the hotel had nice wide hallways...though getting the wings into the elevations was... interesting.)

I never actually got down to the Con on Monday. I woke up around 7.30 or 8, got ready anc packed, as I had to be at the bus station at 10.15. Erik stumbled in around 7 after spending all night at the Hentai night. Apparantly, though, it sucked pretty bad. He said the only good part was the Hentai music Videos. Nick asked "So why did you stay?" and Erik replied "I wanted to see how much I could stand." before he passed out. Nick headed down the the con, dressed as some Naruto character.

Through out the con, Erik was dressed as the tentacle monster, and different variations. On the day of Teen Titans, he made a cape out of red fabric and was teen titan tentaacle monster. And he made himself a sign that said "Have you glomped a tentacle monster yet?" He was very very popular at the con. I saw so many people take pics of him and glomped him. Nick dressed primarily as different Naruto haracters, Kakashi, and... The dude with the pony tail... and... I need to watch Naruto because I don't know.
